Q: Do you stay for the actual party or event?
A: No, we will work with you to provide and set up everything you need for your party or event, but we do not stay.
Q: What ages are suitable for tent parties?
A: The tents are suitable for all ages with adult supervision.
Q: What are the dimensions needed for each individual tent?
A: The footprint you will need for each tent (including the twin mattress) is 52x52x75.
Q: How many individual tents can be rented at once?
A: Our standard prices are capped at 15 individual tent rentals at once. However, please contact us to discuss if you are in need of more than 15 tents.
Q: Is food allowed to be consumed inside the tents?
A: We kindly ask to preserve utmost cleanliness, that food & beverages not be consumed inside of our individual tents.
Q: Can tents be set-up outside?
A: We prefer our tents be set up inside, but if you need them outside, we can potentially work with you for an additional fee.
Q: What is the timeframe for a tent party rental?
A: Tent rentals timing can vary depending on your event needs. We will work with you to determine a drop-off and pick-up window for each tent party.
Q: How long does a party set-up take?
A: Depending on the number of tents and add-ons, set-up can range between 30-120 minutes.
Q: Do I need a power supply?
A: For indoor parties – no. All lighting is battery operated.
Q: What happens if the space I wanted for the tent(s) is not large enough to accommodate?
A: We will work with you to find a suitable space on-site, but measuring and determining appropriate space is the responsibility of the client.
Q: What type of mattress do you provide?
A: We provide air mattresses that we have tested for sturdiness, comfort & durability. Although we do not anticipate our mattresses losing air during a rental, we will leave an electric air pump in the event one is needed.
Cleaning, Sanitary & Safety Info:
Q: How do you clean the items that you rent?
A: HV Queens of Teepees is serious about cleanliness and safety and it is our top priority to ensure that our clients and customers feel safe hiring us. All equipment, bedding and pillow covers will be disinfected & professionally laundered before and after each party. Any soft furnishings that cannot be laundered will be washed/wiped down with antibacterial spray or wipes.
Q: Does HVQOT provide sleeping pillows?
A: We ask that sleeping pillows be provided by the client to ensure utmost sanitary standards.
Q: Will HVQOT employees be masked when entering my home to set up?
A: All HVQOT employees are fully vaccinated for Covid-19; and face masks will be worn upon request when inside a client’s home.
Bookings, Deposits, Payments
Q: How far in advance to you have to book an event?
A: We ask that you book an event at least 4 weeks in advance, but we will always try our best to accommodate any event if our schedule allows.
Q: Do you require a deposit to book an event?
A: Yes. Once we discuss and agree upon the details and parameters of your event, we will provide a contract and a $100+ deposit is required at contract signing in addition to a refundable security deposit where applicable. For parties wishing to use the individual tents outdoors, an additional fee will apply.
Q: When will my security deposit be returned?
A: Within 48 hours of the collection of the tents/ rental equipment.
Q: Are prices posted on the site subject to change?
A: Yes. We reserve the right to change/update pricing. Also, customizations to packages may result in increased charges.
Q: Do you travel outside of the Hudson Valley for parties and events?
A: Possibly, with an additional travel surcharge we may travel outside of the HV. Please contact us for more information.
